Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:  Design engineer

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for design of engine components which includes 3D modelling, Drafting. Co-ordinating with Manufacturing team, Testing team. Visit vendor, Detailed analysis of failure components, Measurements. Interplant discussions whenever required.

Competency Requirements

  • Expertise in Develop and refine 3D cad model and in technical drawing  using Siemens UG NX
  • Experience in core / skeleton modelling for engine components.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing of casting / forging process.
  • Skill to Collaborate with engineering team to ensure feasibility & manufacturability of design components and team work.
  • Sound knowledge of GD&T.
  • Knowledge of global product landscape and benchmarking activity.
  • Innovation skill, design of component for optimum weight and cost effective
