Program Overview

• Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) is a best-in-class manufacturing skills training course for graduate engineers​, done in partnership with India’s top universities and engineering Institutes​.

Job Overview

Preparation and drafting of layouts for centres. This role involves extensive traveling to the CSR project locations.

A- Knowledge worker Component:

• • • Engage with key business stakeholders like the various Educational Institutes and understand their requirements of SPACE and VERTICALS finalized.]
    • Monitor implementing agencies for response on Layouts and to finalise the same.
    • Finalise and mark the Decals, Signages and Branding elements in the layouts.
    • Visit Govt/Pvt Universities and take measurements and do layouting of space offered.
    • Correct Manual with right placement of Machines and Equipment.
    • Prerequisite – Capability to understand the BAL BEST course verticals curriculum and to Implement same at various Universities including monitoring post implementation.
    • Ensure tagging completion and create monitoring/.Handover sheets to Governance.
    • Should have idea of Bajaj Systems and should have knowledge of R&D and Plant functions.
    • Develop an implementation plan with Timelines and annual functional plans basis approval.

• Monitor and review effectiveness.

• • Project Management
    • Regular site reviews- follow-up of implementation and  Documentation
    • Organize additional support to implementation partner if required
    • Ensure collaboration among implementation partners – Universities, Equipment vendor/Software vendor and Hardware vendor.
    • Identify issues to be explored during Monitoring and Review - ensure that the 3rd party led assessments are supported by implementation partners
    • Review reports and utilization statements.
    • If feasible discuss additional/follow-up/scaleup proposals; Prepare SOP`s and templates else project closeout
  • Communications and engagement
    • Work with Manager Comms and Reporting for effective communication on projects with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide leadership, guidance and monitor associated Executives
  • Take ownership of Knowledge worker primarily as CSR Focal point (in domain expertise area)
    • Regular engagement with partner organization and internal Resource to control project timelines and budget.
    •  Quarterly and other periodic review
    • Support appropriate personnel in project management

Competency Requirements

• • Experience in drafting/ preparation of layouts of area of manufacturing.
  • Past experience of engaging with multi stakeholder projects
  • engagement with senior external stake holders
  • Knowledge of BAJAJ systems and technically strong.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong team player –also ‘self-starter’ able to work with minimal supervision
