Job Title: Mobile App Lead

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Lead to drive the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of our mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, hands-on development capability, and the ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

• Lead end‑to‑end development of mobile applications across iOS and Android ecosystems, including app store compliance, deployment, and publishing workflows.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands‑on coding/review support using:
• React Native for cross-platform development.
• Native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Native Android (Kotlin/Java) for critical or platform-specific components.
• Oversee and enhance mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and testing processes (mobile testing experience is a plus).

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead and track multiple mobile app projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery, quality benchmarks, and cross-functional alignment.
• Drive effective project planning, sprint management, release cycles, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design, backend, QA, and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Cloud, Connectivity & Security

• Understand and implement mobile-cloud communication models including APIs, data sync, real-time protocols, and offline capabilities.
• Ensure secure implementation of authentication, authorization, login flows, and token-based mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Collaborate with cloud/DevOps/vendors teams to manage environments, backend integration, and performance tuning.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage external development vendors and technology partners to ensure quality, timelines, and adherence to standards.
• Act as the primary communicator between requirements teams, management, and technical resources.
• Present updates, roadmaps, and architecture decisions to leadership teams.

Design & User Experience

• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure intuitive, consistent, and modern mobile experience design.
• Contribute ideas on interaction patterns, visual alignment, and performance optimizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in mobile app development with at least 2–3 years in a lead role.
• Strong command over iOS and Android development ecosystems (build processes, certificates, store submissions).
• Proficiency in React Native plus hands-on experience with native components.
• Strong understanding of cloud integration, authentication frameworks, and modern API usage.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks, automation, and CI/CD pipelines is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with mobile security best practices and compliance standards.

• Experience with performance profiling and mobile analytics platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Gitlab pipeline.
