Designation     :  Asst Mgr / Mgr (ENGINE ASSEMBLY ) – 3WH               

Education        :  Graduate from reputed institute,  from Mech / Auto discipline

Experience      :  Min. 3 years, preferably in Automobile / Engineering Industry

Location          :  Bajaj Auto Ltd, Waluj – Aurangabad (Maharashtra)

Key Responsibilities :

1. To ensure availability of Men & Material for executing daily production of 3WH products as per plan.

2. Plan and execute all  manufacturing activities to achieve daily targets without any defects from conveyor.

3. Plan and implement TPM systems in work area to achieve highest OLE (Over all Line Efficiency) and sustain.

4. Ensure availability of all facilities on conveyor including special tools, equipment’s for smooth production.

5. Coordinate activities related to maintenance with Maintenance team.

6. Plan manufacturing of new / upgraded product batches for various countries as per plan (Pre-pilot, pilot etc.)

7. Interface (internal) with  QA / PPC / Mfg. Engineering for day to day activities of shop and for improvement projects.

8. Plan and implement pokayoke and automation proposals in work area for PQCDSM improvements and material flow/handling improvements.

9. Ensure implementation of 5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.

10. Guide cell members on daily issues and get the work done from them more effectively.

11. Ensure safe working conditions & culture in the work area to prevent any type of accidents.

Key Competencies :

1. Knowledge of Line Balancing technique / calculating work contents on assembly conveyor.

2. Understanding of latest assembly techniques, assembly tools, fixtures, material handling equipment.

3. TPM

4. Knowledge and exposure of implementing QMS and SHEMS systems.

5. Production planning – Machine, Manpower & Material availability

6. Knowledge of Quality Systems

7. Knowledge of engine and transmission
