- JOB PURPOSE:
Ensure smooth operations of Commercial Vehicle Assembly Shop and meet the daily / weekly / monthly / yearly production target.
Daily ~1.5K – 2.5K vehicles are produced and supplied to domestic and export market. Rigorous monitoring of PQCDSME parameters for continuous improvement through TPM Way of working. Continuous interface with cross functional departments like Engine Assembly, paint shop, ME, QA, PPC & vendors for related challenges and get their support to achieve PQCDSME targets.
Closely interaction with cell members working on various conveyor lines in vehicle assembly to achieve daily output and resolve labour issues and support them for removing their pain areas. Own/support activities related to New Model Introduction, Output/man/DPR/RFT/Flexibility Improvement, VAVE Proposals, New Technology Adaption, Engineering change (ECN) Implementation etc. On job training and development of newcomers.
Cell member strength of FA CVD is @ 700, divided in two shifts. FA has 2 conveyors. Production is done of 2 shift basis and managed by 2-3 Managers. Position requires working in Shifts.

Educational Qualifications
BE (Mechanical) / BE (Production) from renowned institute.
Work Experience
Min: 4 years

Industry Specification
Preferably from Automobile OEM where Vehicle assembly is done
Additional Requirements
Knowledge about vehicle assembly line balancing and work content / work measurement techniques awareness and vehicle testing etc.
Preferred Vernacular Language:
English / Hindi + Marathi advantage

- Should have knowledge and exposure in implementation of
- TPM systems, including JH/KK/E&T/QM ……. pillar activities.

6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Based - Std Library)
- Ensure smooth operations of conveyor lines: Plan and achieve shift wise production target as per quality standards.
- Provide support to team members in the shops to improve PQCDSME parameters.
- Interface, planning and execution of engineering changes at vehicle assembly.
- Coordinate hassle free introduction of new models (vehicle side) as per management plans.
- Co-ordinate with Automation team to convert manual processes into automation.
- Plan to analyze to improve line RFT / OLE/ DPR
- On the job training and capability building of cell members & DTEs for current as well as future roles.
- Process Enhancement through AI / Digitization activity
- Ergonomics & work balance improvements on assembly lines
