Educational Qualifications

Graduate in Paint technology from reputed institute with good academic track record.

  SQA (Special processes – Painting / Powder coating / Plating ).

 Additional Requirements

Knowledge about Paint shop production and planning ,  Painting  Equipment.

Preferred Vernacular Language:

  1. KEY COMPETENCIES (Repository & Standard Libraries for Competency Framework - Drop own tions access to Admin)

Technical

1.Knowledge of advance Paint, Plating and Powder coating technology and Basics of each process.

2. Awareness about ...Paint and Plating lab testing equipment

3. Knowledge about colour shade measurement and matching

4. Analytical ability and Process know how to identify abnormality mapping.

5 Knowledge of PFMEA & DFMEA of 2 Wh Parts & Process –FTA analysis

6.Knowldge of  fabrication and Polymer will be added benefit.

7.Aware  of engineering drawings

8. Should have knowledge and exposure in implementation of TPM systems, ISO

   IT tools expertise like SAP, Power Point , Excel , MS office etc

6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Based - Std Library)
  • Conversant with Sames Painting Bells and Zirconium base Pre-treatment process
  • Thorough Surface Treatment process knowledge of Fuel tank Painting , ABS plastic parts painting , HR painting for Silencers , Powder coating for Engine and vehicle parts ,  Zinc plating and Ni-cr plating
  • Expertise in special tests  - Salt spray test , Humidity test , CASS test
  • Conversant with Paint testing parameters and test equipment
  • Conversant with Painting , Powder coating and Plating defects and root cause analysis and resolution
  • Competent to operate Paint Lab test equipment – Travelling temp. recorder (TTR)  , Colour measurement equipment , Microscope, Impact tester , flexibility tester , Abrasion resistance tester , air velocity meter ,

Dust count meter , XRF meter etc.

  • Conversant with decal application process and decal manufacturing process , defects and it’s resolution
  • Conversant with CED painting process
  • Expertise in failure analysis, initiating corrective preventive actions.
  • Knowledge & expertise in using different problem-solving techniques (7 QC Tools , FMEA ).
  • Exposure to TPM ,  QMS and SHEMS implementation in work area.
