|
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement QA Strategies
- Monitoring Quality Metrics & improve further
- Ensure proper defect tracking and resolution.
- Train QA team and other departments on quality practices and standards
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Work with R&D, Production, Engineering, and Customer Service teams
- Compliance and Documentation - Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements
- Maintain quality documentation (SOPs, manuals, audit reports)
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve quality.
- Benchmark practices against industry leaders
- Identify potential quality risks early in the development/production lifecycle
- Customer Satisfaction - Gather and analyze customer feedback.

Technical/ Functional:
Technical
- Sound knowledge on Steel & Aluminum machining.
- Trouble shooting on Defects occur in casting, forging & machining processes.
- Knowledge on engine parts functions and processes.
- Should have knowledge on process capability, FMEA & other quality tools.
Functional
- Able to administrate team of 5- 10 members.
- Able to educate and motivate teams in achieving the goals and objectives.

Specific expertise required for functional area:
- Knowledge on aluminum casting, Hot forging and cold forging processes and controls.
- Knowledge on New Model development as per APQP process on Quality roles.
- Sound knowledge on engine assembly and testing is must.
