  1. JOB PURPOSE: 
    1. Engine assembly – Assly process for part fitment sequence. 
    2.  New Model :- Introduction, Check sheet preparation as per  MPL, Inter face with ME
    3.  Incoming Parts inspection Dimensional & Aesthetic requirement.
    4.   Scheduled inspection of Casting, Forging, electrical & Propriety parts
    5.  Conducting audit of engine assembly process .  
    6.  Conducting audit of vendors – C&M, F&M .
    7. Failure Analysis of NC Part for Assy Lines and field failures.
    8. Effective communication to Vendor, R&D, ME & Production to understand defect phenomenon.
    9. Effective communication to vendors for implementing corrective & preventive actions.
    10. Vendor audit NC, improvement points and corrective actions communication to the Management.
    11. Interface with Vendors, PPC, Materials for issues and for improvement projects / engineering changes / new model etc
    12. Metallurgical & Millipore inspection at vendor end & at engine assembly.
    13. QMS & SHE System co-ordination of Departmental activities.

    Graduate in Mechanical Engg from reputed institute with good academic track record.

  5. KEY COMPETENCIES (Repository & Standard Libraries for Competency Framework - Drop own tions access to Admin)

    1.Knowledge of Assly/Welding/Machining/ and Basics of each process.

    2. Awareness about ...welding /plastic (ABS/PP)/machine lab testing equipment

    3. Analytical ability and Process know how to identify abnormality mapping.

    4 Knowledge of PFMEA & DFMEA of 4 Wh Parts & Process –FTA analysis

    6.Aware of engineering drawings

    7. Should have knowledge and exposure in implementation of TPM systems, ISO

    6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Based - Std Library)

    • Legal compliance :-Establishing poka yoke & process controls
    • Quality safety norms -safety compliance.
    • System Compliances: Zero NC in audits by ‘Internal audit’ department & ‘External audit’ agency
    • Defining SOPs for following processes and following those meticulously
    • Zero NC in audits by ‘Internal audit’ department & ‘External audit’ agency
    • Export zero IRU.
    1. CKD packing mode, B) Part level packing mode, C) To improve dpr of export distributor
    • Communization of QA system across all plant –
    • Vendor Part Process audits
    • Hassle free introduction of new model.
    • Expertise in failure analysis, initiating corrective preventive actions.
    • Knowledge & expertise in using different problem-solving techniques (7 QC Tools , FMEA ).
    • Exposure to TPM ,  QMS and SHEMS implementation in work area.
