4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role:  Planned Maintenance 
Responsibilities: Paint Process Equipment's  & Utilities 
Digital & Automation-Enabled Maintenance
Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT-enabled monitoring, condition-based maintenance, and data analytics
Implement predictive maintenance using vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and real-time diagnostics
Integrate equipment with SCADA / MES platforms for centralized monitoring and control
Develop dashboards for OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime analytics

PLC & Control Systems
Program, diagnose, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi FX & R Series PLCs
Ensure seamless integration with HMI and SCADA systems (Genesis or equivalent)
Process Equipment Maintenance
Conveyor & Paint Booth Systems:-

Maintain VFDs, servo drives, encoders, and sensor-based automation systems
Improve system reliability using predictive alerts and monitoring tools

Monitor electrostatic parameters, airflow, and filtration efficiency
Ensure booth monitoring, control systems, and alarm automation are effective
Track performance and optimize operational efficiency
Oven & Gas Train (PNG) Systems:-

Maintain curing ovens, gas trains, burners, and safety interlocks as per combustion standards

Implement automated control loops for temperature and gas flow
Integrate sensors for real-time combustion efficiency monitoring
Ensure all interlocks and safety automation systems are fail-safe
5 Competency Requirements Safety & Compliance (Automation Perspective)
Ensure automation systems comply with functional safety standards (SIL / interlocks)
Maintain safety in hazardous paint shop environments through:
Gas leak detection automation, Flameproof systems, Fire detection systems
Team Leadership
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
Manage shift schedules aligned with production targets and maintenance plans.
3rd Party Manpower KPI control and Adherence management 
Budget & Spare Parts Management
Maintain inventory of critical spares (Painting system spares , Mitsubishi modules, gas train, ASU Spares)
SAP PM / MM Module Operation
Coordinate and negotiate with OEMs and third-party service providers
Technical / Functional Competencies
Knowledge of automotive industry best practices (Productivity, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety)
Experience in greenfield projects
Well-versed with SAP system
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
Internal auditor certification (QMS / OHSAS) preferred
TPM awareness (JIPM methodology preferred)
Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
