1.  JOB PURPOSE
The Program Manager leads the development and execution of two-wheeler product programs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective vehicles that meet customer and business requirements. The role integrates cross-functional efforts, manages risks and aligns stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and quality to achieve successful product launch and lifecycle performance.

4.  KEY COMPETENCIES
Technical/Functional 1. Knowledge of Two-wheeler Vehicle architecture, Bill of Materials and Product lifecycle.
2. Awareness of emission norms, safety regulations and homologation requirements.
3. Ability to identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
4. Understanding of manufacuring process like casting, forging, machining, welding, molding, painting and assembly processes.

5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
1. Lead end-to-end program execution for NPD initiatives from concept to launch.
2. Define project scope, objectives, develop and manage program timelines and plan project budget for new vehicle programs.
3. Work with senior management to finalize product positioning, target specifications and cost target.
4. Lead Cross Functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Component Development, Engineering,  Quality, Marketing & Sales teams to ensure timely delivery.
5. Prepare Product cost vs target and and monitor the progress till production.
6. Identify potential risks (technical, supply chain, or regulatory) early in the project.
7. Lead pilot build and production ramp-up activities.
8. Ensure all vehicle programs meet homologation, emission, safety and regulatory standards.
9. Work closely with manufacturing and development  teams to ensure smooth Start of Production (SOP).
10. Provide periodic program status updates (weekly/monthly) to senior management.
11. Facilitate regular program review meetings to monitor progress and resolve interdepartmental conflicts.
