Job Role & Responsibilities
|
Role: Developing electrical system which includes Hardware design as well as software program design required for all equipment and automation.
|
Responsibilities: Electrical Hardware and software Design
- Responsible for electrical control system finalization for machines and automation considering Industry 4.0 trends and affordable emerging technologies making all equipment IIOT ready.
- Software development for control (Ladder, structure text, modular programming). Writing production ready code with extensive testing.
- Responsible for Electrical circuit design with E-PLAN/ Auto cad.
- Control panel design as per standards, switch gear selection, power and load calculation, prepare the costing and make BOM entry in SAP.
- Sensor Selection including smart sensing solutions.
- Identify areas to modernize and improve in equipment building.
- To ensure necessary Poka Yoke/interlocks for fool proof machine/automation
- Modify design based on customer feedback and ensure zero breakdown.
- Cost negotiation for electrical systems.
- Proving of equipment and automation at try out stage and ensure interruption free running.
- Machine Documentation
- To support the service team for commissioning. Development of electrical design, commissioning vendors for capability building.

Competency Requirements
|
Technical/ Functional:
- Expertise in electrical panel, ckt design with E-PLAN and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in PLC programming, HMI programming, Servo configuration, robot programming. (Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Siemens systems)
- Working with Modbus, CC link, Ethernet, ProfNet, devicenet networks.
- Working with Database and connectivity (OPC U/A, SQL)
- Good knowledge of AI, ML, Vision technologies
- Well versed with SAP system & operating of Team Centre
- Knowledge about international standards and regulations, applicable globally. (IEC, IP, NFPA Etc.)
- To have thorough knowledge in fault finding in machines.
- Process review & upgradation of the process.
Soft Skill set: PLC programming, E-PLAN, AutoCAD, C, C++, Python, Excel.
