Component development

  • Development of Lights (Headlamps, Taillamps, Signal lamps, License plate lamps, Reflex reflectors)

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional:

  • Component development of Lighting (LED and Bulb) Headlamps, Tail lamps.
  • Knowledge of complete life cycle of development of lighting system in 2Wh and automotive domain and its interface with vehicle.
  • Knowledge of machines / tooling / fixtures / gauges used in manufacturing of lighting assemblies.
  • Knowledge of materials used in lighting assemblies.
  • Knowledge of testing of components and homologation requirements for domestic and export markets (AIS, ECE, FMVSS, VSCC, CCC)
  • Knowledge and practice of DFMEA, PFMEA.
  • Cost estimation and settlement for part, tooling and fixture cost.
  • Knowledge of quality systems.
