Vertical Responsibilities:
- To meet project schedule of pre-pilot /pilot/CUFT/SOP
- Machining feasibility study of Aluminium & ferrous parts
- Optimized Machining process planning
- Machining capacity planning w.r.t business plan
- Cutting tools understanding & planning
- Conceptualization & development of machining fixtures, inspection gauges, Automation
- Costing of parts (machining process) / Fixtures / gauges
- Identifying VAVE ideas at development stage & implementation
- Development Documentation completion & handover to related verticals

Competency Requirements
|
Technical/ Functional:
- Should have knowledge of CNC, VMC & HMC programming & machining
- Should be able to plan optimized machining process & capacity for Aluminium & ferrous automotive parts
- Should have knowledge of CMM programming & report understanding
- Capable of conceptualizing & developing fixtures /cutting tools /gauges/automation
- Basic understanding of Aluminium & ferrous casting process
- Basic understanding of surface treatment processes (powder coating & painting)

Specific expertise required for functional area:
- Exposure to UG -NX
