About the Role:
One of the key core digital product is the DMS (dealer management system) across all the network of dealers. The ideal candidate will be managing the DMS and work closely with dealers, service provider and BAL internal Business teams to deliver requirements and manage the operations. Should be self-directed, highly skilled in managing different teams, hunger to ensure adherence and desire to optimize productivity.
Key responsibilities:
- DMS Management: Manage DMS operations to support vehicle sales, service, parts, and finance operations. Ensure seamless integration with OEM & other third-party systems.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline processes to improve dealership performance and customer satisfaction.
- Dealer Support: Provide training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to dealership staff, ensuring efficient system, adoption and issue resolution.
- Reporting & Analytics: Coordinate for DMS related reports and dashboards to track KPIs (sales, service revenue, inventory turnover) and provide actionable insights.
- Project Management: Lead DMS-related projects, including system upgrades and dealer onboarding. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and OEMs for system updates and troubleshooting.
- Monitor : Ensure monitoring of system in coordination with service provider to ensure the system operates efficiently.
- Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between dealerships, service provider& internal Business teams, to ensure DMS meets operational needs and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with DMS platforms/products in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations (sales, service, parts, finance).
- Proven ability to configure and optimize DMS systems to improve efficiency and performance.
- Experience with data integration between DMS, CRM, and OEM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with dealerships and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, IT, or related field.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with industry regulations (warranty claims, recall management).
Work Environment:
- Full-time with occasional travel to dealership locations.
