JD  - CUSTOMER APP – PRODUCT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and lead the end-to-end development, enhancement and continuous improvement of our Customer Mobile Application. The app is the digital face of the brand for customers, offering features like vehicle onboarding, service booking, vehicle health tracking, offers, ride analytics, and more.

You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to create a world-class customer experience that drives engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction across the lifecycle of a two-wheeler customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision

  • Own the vision and roadmap for the customer app in alignment with overall brand and digital goals.
  • Define key product metrics (KPIs) such as DAU, MAUs, retention, app store ratings, service booking conversions, etc.
  • Benchmark against best-in-class mobility and lifestyle apps globally.

Customer Experience

  • Build intuitive, personalized, and feature-rich app journeys to enhance customer engagement coordinating with development partners.
  • Integrate key customer touchpoints: vehicle purchase, ownership, service, accessories, offers, and feedback.
  • Drive features like ride analytics, connected vehicle integration, DIY tips, push notifications, loyalty programs, and gamification.

Feature Development & Roadmap Execution

  • Translate customer needs and business goals into detailed product requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver clean, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Manage development sprints, QA testing, and timely releases in coordination with the tech team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, Dealer Management, and Customer Service teams for holistic feature development.
  • Ensure smooth integration with backend systems like DMS, telematics platforms, CRM, payment gateways etc..

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze usage data, feedback, and market trends to improve app features and performance.
  • Use tools like Firebase, Google Analytics, App Store feedback, and customer NPS to continuously iterate the product.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure app complies with data privacy, cybersecurity, and legal standards (especially around personal and vehicle data).

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager for mobile applications – preferably in automotive, mobility, fintech, or consumer tech.
  • Understanding of mobile tech stacks (Android/iOS), APIs, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Figma, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Strong business acumen and customer empathy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with connected vehicles, IoT platforms, or telematics.
  • Exposure to dealer networks, service workflows, and post-sales functions in automotive.
  • Knowledge of app monetization, digital campaigns, and loyalty programs.

KPIs for Success:

  • Monthly Active Users (MAUs) & retention rates
  • Increase in digital service bookings via app
  • App Store/Play Store rating (target 4.5+)
  • Feature adoption rates (e.g., connected vehicle, service tracking)
  • Customer satisfaction and NPS improvement
