Job Role & Responsibilities
|
- Electrical & Electronics component ownership for customer complaints & new products.
- Root cause analysis, finding best solution & monitoring the progress.
- Warranty receipts monitoring through inspection, Vendor teams.
- New products - FMEA Review for identifying potential complaints & CTQ parameters.
- New products - Study of complex issues at pre-pilot, pilot stage.
- Interaction with Design, Manufacturing, Service & Vendor teams for customer complaints & new products.
- Documentation & updates in management review forums.
Quality System Audits at supplier end, manufacturing plants.

Competency Requirements

Technical
- Competent in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.
- Knowledge & Experience of problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, regulations, and best engineering practices.
- Thorough knowledge in electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.
- Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application
- Experience in quality systems of electronic components for automotive application –CDI, ECU, voltage Regulator, sensors, fuel pumps., Instrument cluster
- Knowledge of inspection & Testing of Electrical/ Electronic components.
- Bench marking with similar parts, VA/VE
- Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA
- Knowledge of TPM, ISO Standards.
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Teamcenter.
