Job Purpose

To drive spare parts and Bajaj Genuine Oil sales across the assigned markets by strengthening channel coverage, improving spare parts availability, and ensuring efficient systems and processes across the distribution network. The role focuses on enhancing channel profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency while supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Coverage & Channel Profitability

  • Achieve sales targets for spare parts and Bajaj Genuine Oil.
  • Develop and implement market-driven strategies to ensure complete geographic and product coverage.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts across retailers and mechanic networks.
  • Drive marketing initiatives to increase awareness, loyalty, and channel engagement.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across the distribution network.
  • Ensure quick availability of Vehicle Off-Road (VOR) spares.
  • Coordinate closely with sales and service teams to support vehicle seeding in new markets and product launches.
  • Focus on parts and Oil penetration with maintaining the competitiveness 

2. Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent spare parts availability across both captive and aftermarket channels.

3. Systems & Process Excellence

  • Implement standardized channel processes for efficient spare parts flow from the organization to end users.
  • Develop KRAs, performance trackers, and review mechanisms for channel partners.
  • Use appropriate marketing tools and programs to drive channel performance.
  • Implement digital initiatives to improve productivity and data capture.
  • Identify capability gaps and conduct training programs for channel staff.
  • Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for channel processes.

4. People Management

  • Align field teams with clear objectives and performance frameworks.
  • Strengthen channel capabilities through training, motivation, and team development initiatives.
