Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:   CFD Engineer

Technical/ Functional:

1. The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing and validating 1D engine system-level models to predict engine performance, intake and exhaust acoustics characteristics and support their optimization. The role also requires experience in intake and exhaust port flow analysis, uniformity index evaluation, Drive cycle simulation and combustion simulation

2. Should be able to seamlessly integrate between test and simulation, collaborate effectively with teams, take initiative, guide others and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Specific expertise required for functional area:

Technical/ Functional Competencies:-Knowledge of software like Realis WAVE (Must), STAR-ICE/ES-ICE, AVL Cruise and GT-Power/AMESim. Strong understanding of engine thermodynamics, gas dynamics and combustion fundamentals. Testing exposure in the field of Flow, Pressure and Temperature measurement.
