Job Role & Responsibilities

 

Role:   CFD Engineer

 

Technical/ Functional:

 

  1. The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing and validating 1D engine system-level models to predict engine cooling and lubrication system performance and support their optimization.

 

  1. The role involves modelling coolant and oil circuits, including pumps, galleries, bearings, jets, radiator assembly, thermostats, valves and heat exchangers to evaluate flow distribution, pressure characteristics and thermal behavior under various drive cycles.

 

  1. Should be able to seamlessly integrate between test and simulation, collaborate effectively with teams, take initiative, guide others and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Specific expertise required for functional area:

 

Technical / Functional Competencies:- Knowledge of software like GT-Suite (Must), Python and AMESim. Strong understanding of engine cooling and lubrication modeling. Testing exposure in the field of Flow, Pressure and Temperature measurement.
