Qualification - B.E/B. Tech in Paint Technology

Experience - 4 to 6 yrs

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in various types of surface coating technologies applied in automotive industry

• Paint selection, Paint application processes, Paint evaluation and testing & validation of painted panels and parts

• Powder coating process selection and evaluation of powder coated panels and optimization of the process and powder variety to suit both cost and performance requirement.

• selection and evaluation electro-plating, anodising & other coating for electrical application like PCB, Connectors

Skill requirement:

• Flair knowledge and process experience on types of paint, application process, paint defects, and testing processes.

• Flair knowledge and process experience on types of powder coating, application process, paint defects, and testing processes.

• Flair knowledge and process experience on electro-plating like Zn plating, Ni-Cr plating, hard chrome plating and similar processes.

• Flair knowledge in Hard coating processes like Anodising, Nikasil coating, ceramic coating etc.

• Ability to do failure investigation and root-cause analysis in surface treatment related failures and prescribe suitable remedies for the same.

• Knowledge and awareness on various internal standards and test procedures related to surface treatment.

Soft Skill :

• Good team player.

• Having positive attitude and pro-activeness in predicting and resolving technical challenges related to surface coating and its associated domain.

• Ready to travel at supplier end to take new product/process trials, audit and resolution of technical issues related to process.
