i) Educational Qualification

Essential:

  • B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engg from reputed University / Institute
  • Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Graduation etc.)

iii) Age Limit

Minimum: 25 Year(s)

Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

Entire design lifecycle of two-wheeler exterior/plastics/Trims which includes the following stages

  1. Sound knowledge of Body Parts/Exterior/Panels and trim design.

 

  1. Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience of UG-NX/CATIA, Team center or equivalent

 

  1. Knowledge of FE analysis and experience in ANSYS/HYPERMESH or equivalent FE software

 

  1. Ability to multitask: Testing co-ordination, Benchmarking, Dealing with suppliers

 

  1. Knowledge of different types of materials, manufacturing processes used in Plastic design. Knowledge of manufacturing guidelines and methods to overcome defects in plastic parts.

 

  1. Application of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM etc.

Technical/ Functional:

  • Proficient in Plastic/Trim Part design of various parts such as fender, fairing assembly, seats, side panels etc.

 

  • Virtual simulation (CAE, FEA) for part design and takeaways from it.

 

  • Good understanding & awareness of new technologies in vehicle interior design

 

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle layout design, ergonomics and homologation requirements

 

  • Good communication skill

  • Unigraphics-NX (CRITICAL)
