Job Title: Digital Modeler (Automotive )

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CAS 3D Modeler with strong expertise in automotive surface development. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Class-A / CAS modeling and be capable of delivering high-quality digital surfaces that meet design intent and production feasibility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality automotive 3D surfaces based on design sketches, data, and references
  • Execute Class-A / CAS surface modeling with a strong understanding of surface continuity (G0/G1/G2)
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is maintained
  • Create and refine digital models from scan data or clay models
  • Ensure production feasibility and support downstream engineering processes
  • Perform data preparation and handover for engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Support design reviews using visualization tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Automotive CAS / Class-A surface modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Autodesk Alias (mandatory)
    • Maya (Sub-D modeling)
    • VRED (visualization & review)
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Surface continuity (G0, G1, G2)
    • High-quality surfacing and surface flow
    • Patch layout and surface structure
  • Experience with Sub-D to NURBS workflows
  • Ability to work with scan data and rebuild high-quality surfaces
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
