Background
i) Educational qualification
|
Desirable: Master’s degree / MBA – Marketing/Business Development / Social Sciences / Sustainability Management/ CSR/ Any related field from TISS or equivalent institutions
8-10 years’ work experience of which at least 5 years in a CSR role

Job responsibilities
|
Responsibilities:
Grant management:
- Ensuring maintenance and regular update of accounting records
- Ensuring continuous development and improvement of financial systems and processes. Identify areas for automation and efficiency
- Collaborate with finance department of BAL, Company’s trust, and internal team members to provide financial information and support their activities
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and prevent fraud.
Reporting:
- Prepare & deliver reporting calendar of BAL CSL (BRR, Annual Reports, ESG etc.)
- Preparation & coordination for board meetings: Board & Steering committee pack, MoM & driving actions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with CSR regulation.
- Building systems and processes effective reporting of projects executed.
- Collection of historic data, converting the same into the proper reporting structures.
Monitoring & Assessments:
- Ensuring periodic monitoring of all the CSR programs
- Standardization and regularization of project monitoring and assessments
- Development of KPI framework for flagship initiatives
- Oversee and analyze the KPIs to measure the success and impact of CSR projects.
- Ensuring compliance with CSR regulation for impact assessments
Processes Development & Documentation:
- Building systems and processes to bring in standardization of all CSR processes
- Safeguarding the organizational documents and easy accessibility for CSR team members
- Audit mechanism for implementation of processes

Competency requirements
|
Technical:
- In depth understanding of CSR compliances and regulations.
- Experience in various reporting (CSR, Annual Action Plan, BRSR etc.).
- Data management, data analysis and MIS knowledge
- Experience and deep understanding in financial and social audits
- Implementation experience in large scale CSR projects, preferably skill development
Specific expertise required for functional area:
- CSR Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder and team management
- Understanding of non-profit eco-system.
