- JOB PURPOSE
Implement all relevant BAL QA systems in Vehicle Assly and ensure supply of OK vehicle to Despatches (Dom+Export)to meet the Management objective of Manufacturing and sales of Motorcycle as per the Monthly targets with highest level of Quality.

- KEY COMPETENCIES

Technical/Functional |
1. Knowledge of all Motorcycle Vehicle systems related to Motorcycle transmission / machined components (5 Cs) 2. Sound Knowledge in Electrical, Fuel System, Fastening related to motorcycle. 3. Conversant with latest legal norms like BS6, ABS 4. Conversant with Export requirement – country specific norms, packing material regulations 5. Conversant with PDI testing of motorcycle vehicles 6. Expertise in FMEA/PPAP/PSW/DR problem solving techniques (like 7 QC Tools) 7. Knowledge of TPM / QM pillar is must. 8. Should Possess good communication, planning, coordination, and leadership skills 9. Exposure to QMS and SHEMS implementation in work area. 10.Tools expertise like SAP, PLM software team centre, MS office 11.Expertise in metrology – CMM, Gauges, common instruments. |

5. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
|
1. Vehicle PDI Testing (FC, Brake, Acceleration test) - planning, execution & adherence as per latest ABS standards. 2. Vehicle Assembly Control, Pokayoke: Ensuring sustenance by regular line audits and timely action for NCs. 3. Export Packing (SKD, CKD) Quality control – Regular packing audits as country specific requirements, packing materials inspection. 4. Receipt Engine Part Quality Inspection of inhouse & vendor parts (S, A, B, C) - planning, execution, adherence, and modifications. Preparing Part Quality Standards (PQS) 5. Vendor Process Control Standardisation – Implementation, Sustenance & horizontal deployment at Vendors to prevent may happen cases. 6. Vendor Process validation for new processes, source, equipment at and support as required. 7. Conducting CFT Vendor Process audits as per schedule based on 20 basic systems 8. Monitoring Vendor Quality Performance Rating – monthly communication 9. Failure Analysis of NC Parts for Assy Lines, PDI, IRU, EFR, Warranty & corrective actions. 10. Corrective preventive action inhouse, vendor end based on Receipt parr defect, Line defects, PDI, IRU, EFR, Warranty 11. QM Activities – SIR, Layout inspection, DRBFM, PRBFM verification. 12. CFT working with PPC, Engg, R&D for improvement projects, ECNs. 13. TPM & Quality Tools – effective use for achieving zero defects. 14. QMS & SHE System co-ordination of Departmental activities. |
