Preferred Exposure : 2-Wheeler/ 4-Wheeler Industry (OEMs) in In-process / Manufacturing / Vehicle / Engine / CKD Quality

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle / Engine Quality & New Projects (KTM Products)

  • Ensure end-to-end quality across all stages, including:
    • Part Quality
    • Process Quality
    • Product Quality
    • Torque Audit compliance
  • Lead and execute inspection activities for vehicles and engines during development and production stages.
  • Support new project introduction with a strong focus on quality planning and validation.

2. Analysis, Reporting & Problem Solving

  • Conduct root cause analysis using structured methodologies (7 QC Tools, TPM).
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure closure of issues with sustainable solutions.

3. Additional Quality Responsibilities

  • Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA):
  • Monitor and improve part-level quality from suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
  • CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Quality:
  • Oversee quality for CKD operations across:
    • Parts
    • Processes
    • Final Product
    • Torque requirements
  • Ensure adherence to defined quality benchmarks in CKD assemblies.

4. Project Management – CKD Operations

  • Lead and manage CKD projects from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, supply chain, quality, and vendors).
  • Track project timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Additional Requirements

 

  1. The candidate should possess sound knowledge and hands-on experience in various quality control tools such as 7 QC Tools, TPM, and related methodologies.
  2. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential
  4. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  5. The candidate must be self-driven, proactive, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
