Job Description: Application Quality Architect

Background

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics. Specialized certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years in mobile app testing (Android and/or iOS).

Role & Responsibilities

• Review product requirements and interface closely with developers to understand app feature scope on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, usability, UI/UX, performance, and security aspects of the app.
• Perform manual and automated testing using appropriate frameworks and tools (Appium, Espresso, XCTest, etc.).
• Ensure rigorous validation of RESTful API integrations, Bluetooth/Connectivity features, geolocation/mapping modules, and cloud-based backend sync.
• Validate cross-platform compatibility, ensuring seamless operation across device types and OS versions (Android/iOS).
• Log defects with all necessary details and steps to reproduce and collaborate actively with development teams for issue resolution.
• Support app release management through regression testing, app store/play store compliance, and pre-launch UAT.

Technical/Functional Requirements

• Strong understanding of mobile app development and lifecycle for both iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Java, Kotlin) platforms.
• Experience in UI/UX validation against Material Design (Android) and Human Interface Guidelines (iOS).
• Familiarity with connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), maps/geolocation, media streaming, and cloud backend integration features.
• Version control awareness (Git), and basic backend/API validation know-how.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and release automation processes
