Job Role & Responsibilities
|
Role:
To manage vehicles, build and testing (performance and durability) activities for ICE & EV commercial vehicles.
Key responsibilities
- Vehicle proto build and ergo buck development.
- Manage vehicle durability, performance, benchmarking and vehicle assessments
- Create detailed vehicle level validation plans and support the development of acceptance criteria for vehicle level validation tests
- Manpower & contract driver management
- Project and interface issue tracking.
- Streamline processes related to durability, performance & benchmarking
- CAN data analysis, pinpoint issues & put efforts for their resolution
- Monitor cost of ownership
- Project level issue analysis and its resolution
- Continuous efforts to improve operation efficiency
- Vehicle subjective assessment
- Carry our performance trials like acceleration, drivability and brake trial
- Responsible for making decisions on types of testing, specify test procedures, instrumentation and hardware used in the testing of designs 2W /3W/4W

Competency Requirements
|
Technical/ Functional:
- Should be familiar with automobile vehicle terminologies & functionalities.
- Relevant experience of 15-20 years in vehicle testing domain of 2W /3W/4W.
- Exposure to evaluation systems and process of countermeasures.
- Familiar to all Standards/ Regulations.
- Hands on experience on vehicle performance tests like brake test, power train cooling performance, coast down, vehicle handling etc.
- Knowledge of EV components
