- JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure that the necessary facilities are available in the Engine Assembly and related subassemblies for executing manufacturing activities as per management targets including capacity enhancement, new models, offloading and Continuous improvement. Role is also responsible for providing technical support to vendors for improving capacity, quality and productivity

6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
1. Planning and execution of engineering changes at engine assembly as released by R&D and Bajaj engineering process standards. 2. Coordinate hassle free introduction of new models (engine side) as per management plans. 3. Budget planning and execution for ensuring capacity as per management plans. 4. Provide technical support to vendors for improving capacity, quality and productivity. 5. Coordinate with MTD, Automation team, to convert manual processes into automation. 6. Plan to analyze to improve line RFT / OEE. 7. Provide support to inhouse production shops to improve in PQCDSM parameters. 8. Coordinate with R&D, CD, Materials and vendor for new module development, engineering change implementation as and when required. 9. Resolve critical quality defects occurring in engine part manufacturing process in co-ordination with cross functional team. |
