- JOB PURPOSE
Facility Planning for Vehicle Assembly Processes for executing manufacturing activities as per Management targets including New Model Introduction, new line establishment, capacity & budget planning and continuous PQCDSM improvements (e.g. Process Improvements for establishment of 3P Controls, Output/man/DPR/RFT/Flexibility Improvement, VAVE Proposals, New Technology Adaption etc). Yearly Budget Planning & utilization including RFQ’s to the supplier, supplier finalization, PO generation, Receipt & Commissioning of Machines. Yearly Fixed Cost Budgeting & Procurement as per Requirements. Monthly Manpower Planning as per Production Volumes & Labor PO Budgeting. BOM & Engineering change (ECN) Study & Implementation. Driving the Manpower saving Projects through ECRS, Offloading, Automation. Role is also responsible for providing technical support to vendors for improving capacity, Quality and Productivity. |

Educational Qualifications |
BE (Mechanical) / BE (Production) from renowned institute. |
|
Work Exp |
Min: 3 years |

Industry Specification |
Preferably from Automobile OEM |

Additional Requirements |
Planning & coordination of various sub-assemblies at vendor end and Proving of the same, as per BAL standards. Trouble shooting and exposure to Why-Why analysis, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions Ability to coordinate with multiple teams for resolving day to day assembly Q & P issues and with R&D for DFA and DFM, Engineering, CD/Materials for new product development. Should have knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and analytical capabilities to analyze FEA reports to plan the corrective actions. |
